LawLife Law Corporation
Terms of Use
Last updated 24 July 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to lawlife.life operated by LawLife Law Corporation (UEN 202770148K), 158 Cecil Street, #21-01 Prime One, Singapore 069545. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from site use, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
2. Brand meaning of “.life” and “Law”
The .life top-level domain is branding only. LawLife is not a lifestyle, wellness, self-help or coaching brand. “Law” means legal practice and advisory work under Singapore law — not “law of attraction”, not law-enforcement services, and not a true-crime media brand. We are a regulated law practice providing legal services, not a course or academy, not a legal-tech subscription app, and not a claims-farming or debt-collection scheme.
3. No legal advice; no solicitor–client relationship
Content on this website is general information about our chambers-style practice. It is not legal advice. No solicitor–client relationship is formed until we complete conflict checks and both parties sign a letter of engagement. Submitting forms, calling, or booking an appointment enquiry does not by itself create that relationship.
4. No guaranteed outcomes
Every matter turns on its own facts and the applicable law. Past illustrative matters, figures or examples are not promises. We do not guarantee results, payouts, timelines or immigration outcomes. Fee estimates are indicative only and depend on scope of work.
5. Services description
Descriptions of corporate advisory, commercial contract drafting, dispute resolution, litigation support, wills and probate, employment advisory, regulatory compliance support, conveyancing-related coordination, retainers and consultations are informational. Actual services are defined in engagement letters. We may decline instructions.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site: no scraping that impairs service, no introducing malware, no attempting unauthorised access, no submitting unlawful content, and no using the enquiry form to harass staff. We may block access where abuse is detected.
7. Intellectual property
Site text, layout, monogram and design motifs are owned by LawLife or licensed to us. You may not copy substantial portions for commercial use without permission. Linking to public pages is welcome if done fairly and without implying endorsement.
8. Privacy and cookies
Personal data is handled under our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy. PDPA consent checkboxes on forms are not pre-ticked.
9. Third-party sites
External links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
10. Disclaimers of warranty
The site is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by Singapore law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that content is complete for your situation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, LawLife is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from site use. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or for fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify LawLife against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
13. Confidentiality warning
Do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the website before formal engagement. Use secure channels we specify after the letter of engagement is signed.
14. Professional regulation
Our legal practice is subject to the Legal Profession Act framework and professional expectations associated with the Law Society of Singapore. This site does not display fabricated practising-certificate numbers.
15. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of updates where permitted by law.
16. Contact
Questions: [email protected] or +65 6642 3817. Postal: the registered address above. For privacy: [email protected].
17. Entire agreement for site use
These terms, plus the Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy, form the site-use agreement. Engagement letters govern legal services separately and prevail for matter work.
18. Severability
If a clause is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
19. No waiver
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
20. Assignment
You may not assign rights under these terms without our consent. We may assign to a successor law corporation entity.
Further notes on Downtown Core operations: consultations occur by appointment at Prime One on Cecil Street during stated hours. Fee discussions remain estimates until scope is fixed. Illustrative work stories are anonymised. Photography is atmospheric and does not identify clients. The column-rule motif is decorative. Singapore English spelling is used throughout. Currency references are Singapore dollars (S$). Phone numbers use the +65 format. Timestamps in our systems use Asia/Singapore where stated.
You acknowledge that comparing practices near Raffles Place or Market Street does not create an appointment. You acknowledge that “chambers hospitality” describes professional courtesy, not entertainment services. You acknowledge that due diligence, jurisdiction analysis and retainer arrangements are described generally and may differ in your letter of engagement. You agree not to rely on meta descriptions or marketing headlines as advice. You agree that banned hype phrases are intentionally avoided on this site because they do not describe our method.
If any translation tools alter meaning, the English text on lawlife.life controls. If you access the site via archived copies, check the live last-updated date. If send.php responses redirect to thanks.html, that confirms receipt of an enquiry transmission attempt, not acceptance of instructions.
21. Illustrative content and metrics
Any metrics, years of practice descriptors, or anonymised matter stories on this site are illustrative. They do not create warranties. They do not establish typical results. They do not replace a fee estimate tied to your scope of work. Photography depicts atmosphere associated with professional offices and Singapore city context; it does not depict confidential client meetings without consent, and stock imagery is labelled through ordinary image credits in production files rather than on-page badges.
22. Communications protocols
After engagement, we may specify secure email, portal or physical delivery methods for documents. Until then, keep messages high-level. Telephone notes may be taken during appointment calls. Asia/Singapore time applies to office hours stated on the site. Public holidays may affect response times without changing engagement duties once a letter of engagement is active.
23. Conflicts and declining work
We may decline or cease acting where conflicts arise, where scope is unclear, where fees remain unpaid under engagement terms, or where continuing would breach professional duties. Declining work through the website enquiry channel does not require a detailed public explanation.
24. Feedback
Feedback about the website experience may be sent to [email protected]. Feedback does not itself constitute a complaint under professional conduct rules; if you need to raise a formal professional concern, we will point you to the appropriate channel during or after engagement.
